Walk the Frog brings its sticky note puzzles to Android and iOS

JoyBit Team ·

Walk the Frog is a small puzzle adventure from German studio Walk The Frog UG. You help Froggo get back to his pond in time for a spring festival with his friend Buddy. Each level is a pile of hand-drawn sticky notes, and you drag them into the right order so the path lines up and Froggo can walk on.

The game first came out on PC in May. On October 14 it arrived on Android and iOS, along with a Nintendo Switch version. The mobile release has three chapters and 18 levels, plus side characters you can chat with along the way. There is no timer, and Pocket Gamer notes that the whole game is about getting Froggo home.

On Google Play it costs $6.99 up front. The listing shows no ads label and no in-app purchases label, and the developer declares that it collects no data. Neither the store page nor the launch coverage says whether it needs an internet connection, so we are treating offline play as not confirmed. An update on October 21 fixed common crashes and a bug that stopped level 1 from starting.

It is a good pick if you like slow, low pressure puzzles and a short story you can finish over a few evenings. If you prefer endless levels or competitive play, 18 levels may feel brief for the price.
