Copy Cats turns one lost kitten into a puzzle-solving clone army

JoyBit Team ·

Copy Cats is a small puzzle platformer from Jussi Simpanen, the Finnish solo developer behind Duke Dashington and Tiny Dangerous Dungeons. A lab accident drops a kitten into a strange virtual world, and the only way home is through a portal at the end of each stage.

The twist is the cloning machine. Every copy of the cat repeats what you do, so when you run or jump, the whole group does too. Pocket Gamer sums it up as "Your clones only move when you do". You use walls and ledges to push the copies into useful spots, stack them to reach high platforms, and sometimes give one up to get past a hazard. Pocket Gamer counts 100 levels across five worlds.

The game arrived on Android and iOS on October 29, 2026. Pricing is a little unclear: Pocket Gamer described it as a $3.99 premium release, while the Google Play listing in the US shows it as free to install with ads and in-app purchases. Google Play rates it Everyone, with mild fantasy violence. Neither source says whether it works offline, so try it in airplane mode before relying on it on a trip.

It suits players who like short, thinky stages where one movement has to work for several characters at once, and anyone who enjoyed the old one-button platformers from the same developer.
