Planet of Lana II opens Early Access on Android
Planet of Lana II is the sequel to the hand-painted puzzle-platformer about Lana and her small companion Mui. It is now on Google Play, with Pocket Gamer reporting on October 29, 2026 that the Android version has opened in Early Access while iOS pre-orders are still to come.
You guide Lana sideways through frozen peaks, ruins and underwater areas, and most obstacles are solved by working with Mui: waiting for the right moment, watching how creatures and machines move, then acting together. The store page says the puzzles lean on observation and timing rather than hard logic, and there is no spoken dialogue, so the story comes through visuals and music.
Lana is older and quicker this time, with wall jumps and smoother movement, which makes the platforming feel less stiff than the first game. Pocket Gamer lists touch controls, full controller support and cloud saves, and puts the length at six to eight hours.
The opening is free to play. After that, a single in-app purchase unlocks the rest, which Pocket Gamer prices at $8.99 with regional pricing. The Google Play listing does not note any ads. Neither source says whether the game runs offline, so try it in airplane mode before a trip.
It suits players who like a calm, story-led puzzle game they can finish over a few evenings rather than something to dip into for a minute at a time.
